Centre Staff

Responsibilities of the Role. 

  • To supervise / instruct sessions from school groups, NICAS bouldering and Fun Wall sessions

  • To man reception, serving customers, answer the phone, etc

  • Deliver high levels of customer service and safety and ensure The Climbing Experience is well represented

  • Be professional, approachable and friendly

  • Be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends, as required

Essential Skills

  • be supportive to customers and colleagues

  • show energy and enthusiasm for your work

  • use your own initiative and solve problems

  • be a team player

  • Have excellent customer service skills. 

Desirable Skills 

  • be passionate about climbing and some experience within a climbing environment 

  • Climbing related qualifications 

  • First aid qualifications 

  • Coaching experience
