Yin yoga is a beautifully calming practice that invites us to slow down. Each yin pose is held for between 3 – 5 minutes targeting the tissues of the body, helping to release tension and stimulate the flow of energy (Qi) through the body. As you relax into each pose, Katrina will interweave teachings from Daoism and the philosophy of yin and yang, as well as giving you quieter moments to simply be with your experience.
The Art of Intentional Touch
Saturday 4th July 11am-1:00pm
£25 for adult/ £23 Concession/Earlybird £17 Studio Members: FREE
Touch is a powerful language, and when offered with presence, clarity, and care, it can create safety, trust, and deeper connection in the body. This 2-hour experiential workshop is designed for yoga teachers, trainees, and curious students who want to explore the art of intentional and intuitive touch. We’ll learn how to offer hands-on assists and self-assist with sensitivity, confidence, and respect, working across physical, energetic, and mental layers of touch.
Through guided teaching, partner practice, and real-time feedback, you’ll experience how pressure, pacing, and presence change how touch is received. The workshop concludes with paired bodywork inspired by Thai yoga massage and a deeply restorative savasana.
Expect learning, play, insight, and embodied breakthroughs, all in a safe, supportive space.
