The Fun Wall at The Climbing Experience is an exciting new way for kids and adults to try climbing
The Fun Wall at the The Climbing Experience provides a great introduction to indoor rock climbing for kids and adults. With 15 different climbing challenges to choose from, including a speed wall and a face-to-face, come rain or shine, it’s a great activity. You’ll be able to test yourself physically and mentally, develop your climbing skills in a safe environment, and of course enjoy endless fun. And when you need a break, our café – The Social Climber – gives you space to take a breather, refuel and plan your next challenge!
Climbing is becoming mega popular in the UK, with people of all ages, and is a great thing to do with kids. The Fun Wall isn’t just a kid’s climbing wall, though. For all ages, it develops physical strength and flexibility, helps you learn how to plan ahead, and develops thinking skills, confidence and courage. If you’ve never climbed before, it’s a great introduction to the skills you need to climb safely and efficiently.
How it Works
Our Fun Wall is a great introduction to climbing and is totally safe for climbers of all ages and levels of ability. You’ll be clipped in to an automatic belay system, which will lower you gently to the ground if you fall, or when you reach the top and want to come down.
And the Fun Wall is fully supervised, so you can test your wits and strength with complete confidence.
Each Fun Wall session is £12.50 per person

Spectators are more than welcome to take pictures of climbers within their group. We do ask that you are sensitive to other climbers and focus on those climbers in your party. Climbers are advised not to carry a phone or camera on them whilst they climb. Phones or other devices can become a hazard to other climbers if they fall out of pockets – they may also get damaged.
